The Northern Cape Symphony Youth Orchestra invites all young musicians from the age of 14 years, who play orchestral instruments, for an audition.
During the audition a candidate has to perform a favourite piece of music for the directors.
In-person auditions will take place on Saturday, 2 December from from 09:00 to 12:00 at the Kimberley Boys’ High School; and from 14:00 to 16:00 at the Mayibuye Centre in Galeshewe, Kimberley.
At Kimberley Boys’ High, candidates have to report to the band room upon arrival.
To do a virtual audition, submit a video recording via WhatsApp to 076-353-7793 by no later than Friday, 8 December. Musicians must be sure to state at the start of the video their name, age, instrument and the piece of music they are playing.
