A creative thinking workshop and networking session on writing for beginners and poetry performance is presented free of charge at the William Humphreys Art Gallery in Kimberley on 22 August.
This workshop for women and people living with disability, will host Leyonie Marais as special guest. Marais is an author, speaker and organisational development consultant.
Those interested can choose between the writing or the poetry workshop, both presented from 10:00 to 14:00, with the networking session from 14:00 to 16:00.
The writing workshop will help aspiring authors or first-time publishers to build foundational skills and unlock creativity. This will be facilitated by Reneë Beck, author, speaker and life coach.
The poetry session will focus on enhancing poets performance skills, and will be facilitated by Thuthukani Ndlovu (TK), author, blogger and poet.
