- John Henry Meiring (45) van De Aar is op Woensdag 14 Februarie agt jaar tronkstraf opgelê vir die besit van kinderpornografie. Sers. Molefi Shemane, polisiewoordvoerder, sê 773 pornografiese foto’s van kinders is op Meiring se selfoon en rekenaar gekry.
- ’n Stiefpa (30) van Kimberley het op Vrydag 16 Februarie tien jaar tronkstraf gekry nadat hy skuldig bevind is dat hy ’n tweejarige met ’n elektriese koord geslaan het. Die kind is erg beseer.
