Last week three employees of the Northern Cape Provincial Traffic Department tested positive for Covid-19, resulting in the closure of three stations.

The stations that were closed from 12 July to 15 July, were Mothibistad, Springbok and Kimberley.

The spokesperson for the Northern Cape Department of Transport, Safety and Liaison, Rennie Andrias, said the staff members who tested positive, are in self-quarantine

Their close contacts will be tested and will also be required to self-isolate for the required period.

The stations were closed last week Monday for deep cleaning.

Two days later the other employees returned to work and it was business as usual.
