Raising funds for the Association for Dementia and Alzheimer’s of South Africa (Adasa) was the main objective of the recent Matsa 100 Miler cycle challenge presented by Oryx Endurance Event Management on 30 March. A new Norco Storm bicycle, with compliments of Bloemfontein Cycle World, could be won in a raffle, with all proceeds going to Adasa. Husband and wife Bryan and Mari Eygabroad won the bicycle with their raffle ticket. Jean Fourie, who ended third overall in the cycle challenge, also donated his prize money to Adasa. At the event are, from the left, Kobus Burger (president of the Northern Cape Cycling Federation and Oryx Endurance), Fourie, Emsie Malan (Northern Cape manager of Adasa), and the Eygabroad couple with their two children. Malan thanked Oryx Endurance and Bloemfontein Cycle World for their loyal support. Visit adasa.org.za for more information.
