Support the Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa (Choc) by kicking off your shoes and wearing a pair of flip-flops on Friday, 18 February.

A donation of R10 gets you a Flip Flop Day sticker, while you are supporting children and teenagers battling against childhood cancer.

The internationally recognised organisation Choc is a registered non-profit organisation aiming to provide life-changing and all-embracing support programmes to children and their families once a diagnosis has been made.

Services include emotional support throughout the cancer journey; and if necessary, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as bereavement support.

Practical support is also provided, including the provision of essential carebags, nutritional food support, accommodation arrangements, transport to and from treatments and educational and awareness programmes on the early warning signs of childhood cancer.

Choc can have over 1 500 children and teenagers in its care at any one time, while offering psychosocial support to over 1 500 families.
