Combat readiness was showcased during a visitors’ day on Thursday (24/11) at the South African (SA) Army Combat Centre at Lohatla as part of the SA National Defence Force’s Exercise Vuk’uhlome. Spectators witnessed a sequence of events, illustrating scenes such as unrest, counterinsurgency and mobile defence. Paratroopers wowed the crowd with their precision jumps (photo). For the duration of the exercise men and women of the SA Army Regulars and Reserves were joined by their counterparts of the SA Air Force and the SA Military Health Service.
