Nearly 260 athletes entered for the second edition of the Diamond Pavilion Half Marathon which was presented in connection with the Kimberley Road Runners.

This event on 16 March commenced and ended in the Diamond Pavilion Shopping Mall, and athletes could enter for either the half marathon, or the 10 km or 5 km event, with a variety of prizes inluding gift cards which were handed out.

The results of the three top positions are as follows:

  • 21,1 km men:

1. Tiisetso Mokhoma, 1:06:18, Nedbank Running Club;

2. Paseka Mosehla, 1:06:33, Nedbank; and

3. Thabang Masihleho, 1:06:39, Central University of Technology, Bloemfontein.

  • 21,1 km women:

1. Nkajara Likeleli, 1:20:59, Sibabalwe Athletics Club;

2. Anna Moeketsi, 1:25:03, By Grace Ladies; and

3. Patricia Motshabi, 1:25:20, Pan African Resources Club.

  • 10 km men:

1. Jeremial Mokae, 36:15, Kgosi Galeshewe Athletics;

2. Andrew Helena, 40:34, Kimberley Road Runners; and

3. Kutlwano Dithejane, 44:13, Nedbank.

  • 10 km women:

1. Carli Nel, 49:08;

2. Riane Faber, 50:28, Kimberley Road Runners; and

3. Lize-Mari Myburgh, 53:07, Hopetown Running Club.
