Matriculants of 2022 who are not happy with their matric results and who wish to rewrite, have the opportunity to do so with the Second Chance Programme of the Department of Basic Education.

Also, those matriculants who want some of their exam scripts remarked, may apply for a re-mark or re-check at the school or exam centre where the examination was written, or at the district office of the Department of Education.

The closing date to request the re-mark or re-check of an exam script is Friday (03/02). Costs involved are R120 for a re-mark and R29 for a re-check.

These results will be available on 13 March.

To rewrite an examination, register before 15 March to rewrite in the May-June period.
