Cashbuild recently relaunched their store in Mothibistad, and to celebrate they donated R120 000 in building materials to eight schools in the area through their Art-at-Heart initiative.

The donations are to be used for the learners’ benefit in upgrading the schools. The learners were also invited to participate in a drawing competition.

The building material vouchers were handed out at the Art-at-Heart ceremony on 25 July.

On this day, the drawing competition winners were also announced, with each receiving their respective gold, silver and bronze certificate.

The overall winner of the artwork competition was named the Manager’s Choice Winner and received a trophy, as well as a backpack filled with stationery.

The Manager’s Choice Winner also officially opened the store.

The schools that benefitted from the Cashbuild Art-at-Heart donations are:

  • the Lareng Primary School;
