The third annual Vice-Chancellor’s Cycle Challenge, hosted by the Sol Plaatje University (SPU) in Kimberley, attracted more than 100 cyclists for the 50 km and 100,8 km races.
The event on 12 November at the SPU South Campus Sports Precinct coincided with the university’s decade celebrations. The vice-chancellor and principal, Prof. Andrew Crouch, said the event symbolised a vibrant celebration of community spirit and well-being, and has grown into a key event.
