The top independent schools in the Northern Cape were also announced.
Futurum Academy in the Vaalharts area is in first place, Sediba Academy in Kuruman in second place, and the Noupoort Christian Education College in third place.
The top three of the quintile 1 to 3 schools in the Northern Cape are as follows:
- the Nametsegang High School in Cassel is in first place;
- in second place is the Monwabisi High School in De Aar; and
- in third place is the Kharkhams High School in Springbok.
