The top bowlers in the Northern Cape District gathered in Kimberley this past weekend for the annual Inter Sub-District tournament.
During this event on 29 and 30 June, the four sub-district of Nothern Cape Bowls face off against each other to determine who is the best of the best. The competition between the sub-districts was fierce, but the camaraderie between the players stood out.
The men’s competition was very close this year, and came down to the last game on the green to determine the winner. In the end, Kimberley managed to retain the trophy, finishing above Conroy by only half a point.
The Kalahari women also managed to win the title again in the women’s competition.
