The 2024 Telkom Netball League (TNL) is underway at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg, with the Northern Cape Diamonds in eighth place in division B.
During power week two, running until Wednesday, 5 June, the Diamonds lost their match against the Eastern Cape Comets on Saturday, with a final score of 47 – 51 on the score board, after the Diamonds had led by 26 – 22 at halftime.
In this game, the Diamonds’ Megan Erasmus was announced as the player of the match.
On Sunday the Diamonds played against the Sunbirds, who beat them 58 – 48.
On Monday the Diamonds faced the KD Queens, who were crowned winners after a 54 – 47 victory.
On Wednesday, the Diamonds faced the Tornadoes, who beat them 50 – 40.
The TNL’s power week one took place from 26 April to 5 May, while the finals are set to be played from 13 to 19 June.
