All three events recently hosted in the Northern Cape by the Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) team were extremely well-received, with attendees reporting they had established many new contacts in the industry.
The Hotazel Mining and Technical Exhibition took place on 19 July, hosted by the Hotazel Recreation Club. More than 250 visitors were welcomed, which is 100 more compared to last year.
Attendees included high-profile personnel, who commented that the event was useful and informative.
Additionally, 20 more exhibitors were hosted at this event, which had been customised through detailed research, ensuring the right visitors and exhibitors were brought together in one ideal location.
Presented the next day, the Kathu Golf Day was an ideal event at which to enjoy friendly competition while networking and establishing potentially fruitful business connections. The combination of competition, good sportsmanship and glorious weather made it the perfect platform for forging lasting connections.
The third event, the Kathu Mining and Industrial Exhibition, took place on 21 July at the Kathu High School, with more than 300 attendees.
Exhibitors were well-represented, with 19 new clients joining MTE. Demonstrations and general information on the latest products and services were offered.
“I found it very informative and useful, as our procurement department made a lot of new contacts,” said the general manager of the nearby Lomeoteng Mine.
MTE aims to keep up the pace going forward, working to connect solution providers with those who need their products and services.
