The Sol Plaatje Master Soccer League held their annual general meeting (AGM) on Sunday (20/02) at the Housing Support Centre in Moshoeshoe Street, Galeshewe.
Seabata Makhele was elected as the new chairman, and Joseph Chou as deputy chair. Other committee members are Joseph Papie Dibeco (general secretary), Tshepiso Seboko (deputy secretary), Kagisho Kwanampe (treasurer), with additional members Mzwandile Zon Flatela, Robert Chico Bikwa, Norman Thomas and Tsebe Mosenogi.
The league also wecomes three new teams. They are the Riverton, Cippa and Casablanca Masters teams.
The result of the games played on Sunday at the Rooistoep ground are as follows:
Crusaders Masters beat Macarena by 4 – 3
Newtown Legends vs Tigers Legends 0 – 0
Tigers Masters beat Five Masters by 6 – 0
