A total of 29 Twenty-nine archers of Africa Genesis Archery Northern Cape (AGA-NC) took part participated in an inter-schools competition against the Free State at Curro Bloemfontein.
Despite windy weather on Saturday, 11 March, being a windy day, the Northern Cape won seven medals, with many archers ranked among the top in their categories and many Northern Capers ended among the top-ranked archers in their categories.
The following won medals:were presented to the following archers:) In the adult archery group (AAG) category, the Northern Cape took the three top overall positions, with Annemarie de Greeff won winning gold with a score of 271/300. Second was Dawid de Greeff (silver) with 269/300, and Philip Kotze (bronze) with 268/300 third.) In the overall primary category, Northern Cape won four medals: Gr. 4 – Hennie Victor (gold) 264/300, and Dylan O’Connell (silver) 259/300; Gr. 5 – Lilly Heuwel (bronze) 249/300; and Gr. 6 – Aaliyah Paulsen (bronze) 242/300.) Top rankings in the AAG women’s category are Annemarie de Greeff (1st) and Odette Victor (2nd); and in the men’s Dawid de Greeff (1st) and Philip Kotze (2nd).)
