A 34-year-old man from Barkly West faces three counts of murder. He was also charged with assault and malicious damage to property.
Sandile Vaaibooi appeared in the Delportshoop Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 29 March.
According to Mojalefa Senokoatsane, regional spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority, it is alleged that Vaaibooi killed Patrick Vaaibooi and Angelina Kgatlane in their home on 18 March. Another relative was severely injured, and later died in hospital. The case was postponed to 25 April.
