As part of the South African National Defence Force’s (SANDF) 2022 intake for the Military Skills Development System, 3 South African Infantry Battalion (3 SAI Bn) in Kimberley will also receive new recruits.
The 1 350 recruits, selected to undergo training in the South African Army, will be placed at 3 SAI Bn as part of the support corps, and at the SA Army Infantry School in Oudtshoorn as part of the combat and combat support corps.
The other Arms of Service will also receive recruits: 227 will be placed at the SA Air Force Gymnasium in Hoedspruit, 270 at SAS Saldanha and 150 at SA Military Health Service Training Formation in Thaba Tshwane. The intake commences on Friday (04/03), while the administration process will be conducted from 7 to 18 March.
This intake is only for applicants who have received official confirmation.
Brig. Gen Annerie Wiese, director of human resource acquisition, cautions the public that SANDF application forms are free, and urges them to guard against recruitment scams.
