The first Vodacom Meerkat Marathon since the onset of the Covid-19 lockdown saw more than 520 athletes flocking to Windhoek Draught Park in Kimberley on 14 May.
This event is presented by the Kimberley Road Runners.
The winners and first runners-up are:
- 42,2 km (men): Chabeli Nyedimane 2:39:22; and Omo Hlungwone 2:41:35.
- 42,2 km (women): Mokulubetie Likotsi 3:33:00; and Marilene Geldenhuys 3:35:21.
- 21,1 km (men): Shadreck Selaledi 1:14:29; and Obakeng Riet 1:17:20.
- 21,1 km (women): Frances Nel 1:38:49; and Denice Thomas 1:49:15.
- 10 km (men): Tebogo Dikgwamolelo Pooe 32:24; and Collen Mochonkone 32:43.
- 10 km (women): Maricelle Kruger 42:25; and Marisa Kruger 42:43.
