A man was allegedly shot to death this morning (01/09) in Armstrong Street in Verwoerdpark, Kimberley.
Capt Tessa Jansen, police spokesperson, says the police were called to the scene after receiving a report of a shooting incident.
“Upon arrival, our members found a white Chevrolet utility bakkie on the pavement with several bullet holes.
“The police members found an adult male, approximately 43-years-old, in the driver’s seat of the bakkie. The victim was certified dead on the scene by emergency personnel.
“The police are investigating a murder case and is requesting the public to contact the investigating officer, Sgt M. Moshotloa on 082-302-0407 with any information relating to the incident. They may also provide information via the My SAPS App or the Crime Stop 08600 10111.”
