THE Gamagara Football League (GFL), in partnership with Reisa (Renewable Engergy Investments South Africa) held its final match in front of a packed Dibeng Stadium on 28 June.
Eight teams, namely Black Burn FC, Eversmile FC, Leeds FC, Masokolara FC, Sesheng United, Northern Delights FC, Naughty Boys FC and Starts of Home FC competed for a place in the semi-final matches.
The GFL winners were the Leeds Football Club (FC) who received R10 000 and the GFL trophy. In second place was Naughty Boys FC who won R7 000 and Eversmile FC ended third and received R5 000 in prize money.
All the teams who participated in the GFL tournament received a full set of soccer kits, a set of uniform bibs for the players, kit bags, goalkeeper sets, goalkeeper gloves, training equipment, first aid kits, water bottles, water carriers, referee kits, linesman flags, as well as match balls
