Students of Konoha Martial Arts from Kathu and the region offered a stellar performance at the annual Winter Challenge held in Christiana.

A total of 19 students of the martial arts school attended the tournament on 31 May, bringing home an impressive 49 medals. These include 22 gold medals, 16 silver medals, and 11 bronze.

The tournament saw participation in five different styles, with students from four provinces present.

Soke Sensei Rainer Jacobs expressed his gratitude to Sensei Janko Janse van Vuuren and Sensei Armand Grobler for their hard work, which contributed to the team’s remarkable results.

This achievement showcases the school’s commitment to excellence in martial arts training and competition, Jacobs said.
