The heroes of the day for Kimberley included Tiaan Pretorius, whose stellar performance saw him scoring two crucial tries that ignited the crowd with excitement. Hilroy Baadjies’ accuracy was on full display as he successfully converted three vital kicks and added two penalties to the scoreboard. Additionally, contributions from Herbert Boyce, Henco Lourens and Dylan Douglas, who each scored a try, further solidified Kimberley’s dominance on the field.

Despite the valiant efforts of Sishen, including tries by Neels Prinsloo, Zwivhuya Mulaudzi (who scored two tries), and precise penalties by Arno Meyer, they were unable to overcome Kimberley’s relentless determination and skill.

Last year, Sishen beat Kimberley in the final by 35 – 33.
