The Sol Plaatje Municipality in Kimberley will be highlighting the beginning of the holiday season by staging its second annual Christmas Family Fun Carnival.
The event is also aimed at fostering social cohesion and creating cherished memories amongst family and friends.
Residents and the public are invited to this family-oriented occasion catering for diverse interests through an array of activities.
Enthralling holiday-themed performances are to be presented through live music and DJ acts.
“We will transform the municipal garden into a vibrant and enchanting holiday season carnival space,” stated Thabo Mothibi, communications manager at the municipality.
Mayor Kagisho Sonyoni, speaker Nomazizi Maputle, and other councillors will be present.
- The event takes place from 16:00 to 20:00 on Friday, 8 December, at the municipal garden (next to the Sol Plaatje statue).
