The Aztec Football Club was announced as the winner of Stream A in the Sol Plaatje Masters League.
The SAPS Club is the winner of Stream B.
On Sunday (31/10), friendly games were played at different venues.
At Rooistoep, the Newtown Bucs Legends beat Diamond Boys Legends with 3 – 2 after an entertaining game. The Newtown team was leading by 2 – 0 at half-time with goals from Steven Fredericks. In the second half Donald Mojakie and Patrick Malas sccored one goal each for Diamond Boys. With time running out, Stock Makaudi scored for Newtown Bucs, putting the final score at 3 – 2.
In other matches, Burning Spear beat Crusaders 2 – 1; and at Donkerhoek Newtown Masters beat Black Vultures by 2 – 1.
