A man (32) has been sentenced to two life terms by the Postmasburg Regional Court after being found guilty of raping two children, then aged seven and eight years old.
The accused was staying with the victims and their mother in Daniëlskuil. They were raped in 2018 when the mother was not home.
The children reported the incident, and later their testimonies in court were overwhelming evidence, leading to the accused’s life sentence, said Mojalefa Senokoatsane, spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).
