The Flamingo Casino in Kimberley donated R40 000 to the Unamandla Foundation, the non-governmental organisation (NGO) that manages Miss Mini Universe, Manqoba Vilakazi, who was recently crowned in Colombia. Vilakazi hails from the Diamond City. The money was donated to promote education within the community of Kimberley, and Flamingo has partnered with Vilakazi for this purpose. Vilakazi is an activist for children living with autism and has been visiting schools in and around Kimberley, encourage learners about the importance of education, and creating awareness for autism. With Vilakazi are Enone Bosch, Flamingo’s marketing operations coordinator (left) and a supporter.
