Thanks to the success of the Honorary Rangers Night Race that took place at Rooifontein outside Kimberley, the Kimberley Harriers Running Club was able to donate R3 000 to these SANParks rangers who are involved with general tasks at the Mokala National Park.

During the event, which commenced at 19:00 on 3 November, all participants had to wear headlamps while running along the 10 km route that stretched through the game farm.

In first place was Kutlwano Dithejane of the Nedbank Running Club (39:36); second was Harry Seekoei of Kimberley Harriers (41:30); and third was Johann Sounes, also of Kimberley Harriers (47:37).
