Two separate cases of carjacking and armed robbery, which occurred in November and December 2024 respectively in the Postmasburg area, are under investigation by the Upington Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit.
In both incidents, the victims were allegedly robbed of their belongings, including bank cards, that were later used to withdraw cash from local ATMs, says Sgt Omphile Masegela, police spokesperson in the ZF Mgcawu District.
The police obtained footage of suspects as depicted on the pictures and urge anyone who can assist with information about the suspects to come forward.
The public is, however, warned not to approach the suspects, but to contact the investigating officer, WO Christoffel van Zyl, on 076-016-4252 or report any information anonymously via the MySAPS App.
