Aspiring models, actors, singers and dancers from Kimberley
and surrounding areas will get the opportunity to showcase their talents on
International Workers’ Day when international talent scouts will be visiting
the Diamond City.
Auditions will be held at the Kimberley Protea Hotel at the
Big Hole. According to Elsubie Verlinden, organiser and an agent for the
international Arts Talent Showcase, registration starts at 08:00, followed by a
workshop, after which auditions will start at 10:00.
According to Verlinden this forms part of a nationwide
talent search which is open to all ages. A few lucky residents might get
selected for the national auditions on 27 and 28 September at the Silverstar
Casino in Johannesburg.
