and 135 mm x 45 mm x 22 mm x 2 bottom frame

Method

Step 1:
Start the top frame of the bar stool by connecting two of the sides (300 mm x 50 mm) and (268 mm x 50 mm) using wood glue and screws.

Drill pilot holes and countersink holes to allow space for the screw tops. Fasten on the other two sides (300 mm x 50 mm) and (268 mm x 50 mm) to complete the square.

Step 2:
Connect the top frame to the top of the bar stool (300 mm x 300 mm).

Drill pilot holes and countersink holes before applying wood glue to the top of the square frame. Place the top in place and fasten with screws.

Step 3: Now you are ready to build the bottom frame, which is placed between the four legs to strengthen the stool’s structure.

Build the frame by connecting the two longer sides (240 mm x 45 mm x 22 mm) to the two shorter sides (135 mm x 45 mm x 22 mm).

It is advisable to drill pilot holes and make use of wood glue.

Step 4: You are now ready to connect the top of your bar stool to the four legs (700 mm x 44 mm x 44 mm).

Put the legs in place one by one (after applying wood glue to the sides of the legs that will be in contact with the top of the stool) and fasten the legs from both sides using screws.

Step 5: Once you have fastened all four legs, turn the chair onto its side. You can finish off by fastening the bottom frame to the legs, securing it with screws 150 mm from the bottom of the legs.

It is advisable to use wood glue and screws to increase the strength of the structure.
